The International Builders Show was held in Las Vegas this year in collaboration with KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show), and it’s the 2nd show Paul and I have ever attended. Last year, when it was in Orlando, we brought our boys and they spent the whole time in Disney! When they were younger we were rarely able to get away for these types of shows, but since becoming involved in our local Home Builder’s Association we have been able to see all of the things we had been missing out on.
The show is a great chance for builders and designers to get a sneak peek at new products and industry trends. While we were there we were honored to have the amazing opportunity to be on a panel hosted by LuAnn Nigara, host of A Well Designed Business podcast, and Brad Leavitt, President of A Finer Touch Construction in Arizona. His houses are amazing!
The Kohler Display: Kohler never disappoints, and this year was no different! They put out a gorgeous display with working rain showers to show off their new Statement Collection. They also had some beautiful vintage fixtures on display, and the best part is that they were giving out Kohler Chocolates!
How fun is this chevron pattern wine bottle storage cabinet? The mix of wood and white is so pretty!
I spy Paul walking around the showroom floor…next to a beautiful 2″ thick countertop!
Pizza anyone? One of the coolest things about the show is getting to see products that you don’t normally use or wouldn’t normally think of using. These pizza ovens were pretty unique.
Don’t be fooled by the bright orange! This mudroom display was part of a larger demonstration of outdoor cabinetry for outdoor kitchens and living areas.
The Builder’s Show had a great turnout this year and there was so much to see. The show goes on for 3 days and in that time we only saw a small percentage of everything that was available, so we can’t wait to go back next year and see more!
